Also you should dive into Ravindra Sangeet with the typical Bengali Tagorean style which offers you a lot of simple philosophy of life. How I wish you are with us for some weeks to share the music and philosophy.<br /> Love. Just revisited your article on him on your blog. That is interesting to know. I need to check the movie credits again. BTW, I wonder if that Renoir documentary is available somewhere.Nivedita Ramakrishnanhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15824244311431900215noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2218366369477617662.post-80597528696703548732011-11-11T09:59:47.804-08:002011-11-11T09:59:47.804-08:00Lovely...wonderful.....thanks that you wrote on th...Lovely...wonderful.....thanks that you wrote on this movie which should be a part of Indian movie history. I remember watching a documentary named Renoir In Calcutta in Nandan, Kolkata in 2003 attended by Goutam Ghose and Raja Dasgupta. Harisadhan Dasgupta was Renoir's assistant director in The River. I knew Harisadhan closely. He used to tell me how Renoir's presence and Neo Realism movement infused new blood to film making in Bengal. A big thanks for reliving the movie.Biswa Prasun Chatterjihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17615508940897352111noreply@blogger.com
